HOUSTON (AP) - An ex-Houston strip club security guard sought after a pregnant cleaning woman was slain at the adult establishment has been caught in Mexico.

Houston City Jail records show 23-year-old Osvaldo Fernandez-Aguilar was being held Friday without bond over an attack police believe started with a robbery.

A capital murder warrant was issued Monday for Fernandez-Aguilar in the March 22 death of 27-year-old Maria Lucrecia. Investigators say the club was closed when the woman was found fatally beaten and about $1,000 was missing from a cash register.

KHOU-TV (https://bit.ly/1hIbWjx ) reports Fernandez-Aguilar was arrested in Cancun, Mexico. Law enforcement officers Thursday escorted the suspect on a flight back to Houston.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Fernandez-Aguilar.
