NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Power provider Entergy New Orleans says Interstate 10 will be closed at its junction with Interstate 610 for about 30 minutes on Sunday, and traffic will be restricted all that morning so crews can replace overhead electrical lines.

The company says the complete closure will be sometime between 7 and 8 a.m., and traffic will be restricted to two lanes from 8 a.m. to noon.

Traffic on I-610 will be affected at its merger with I-10 since the crews will work between exits 238A and 238B.

Entergy says police will direct traffic and state highway message boards will warn drivers.

The company says service to power customers will not be affected by the work.
