ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - A former Trump casino executive is the new head of an agency dedicated to helping keep Atlantic City’s downtown and tourist districts clean.

Rick Santoro, the former security chief at Trump Entertainment Resorts, is the new director of the city’s Special Improvement District,

The position has been vacant since its former head, Don Guardian, took office as Atlantic City’s mayor in January.

The Press of Atlantic City reports (https://bit.ly/1oxU5AW ) Santoro will oversee landscaping, maintenance and the Boardwalk Ambassadors program, in which tourism guides walk the Boardwalk and downtown areas to assist visitors, shoppers and residents.
