PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say at least 10 people have been injured after a Philadelphia city bus and another vehicle collided downtown.

According to the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, the bus was traveling northbound on 11th Street when the accident happened around 5 p.m. Friday.

Investigators said a car traveling westbound on Vine Street struck the side of the bus. The bus then crashed into three parked cars before coming to a stop.

Authorities said about 12 people were injured and transported to hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately available.
