NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) - A Tampa Bay area man has been sentenced to life in prison for his part in the death a convenience store clerk.

A Pasco County judge sentenced 20-year-old Adam Moyer on Friday. A jury previously convicted him of first-degree murder. Because he was a minor at the time of the murder, he will eligible for parole in 25 years.

Authorities say Moyer and 32-year-old Russell David Lane robbed a New Port Richey 7-Eleven in January 2012. The Tampa Bay Times (https://goo.gl/x944pY ) reports that surveillance video shows Lane tussle with 61-year-old Danny Foster. Lane pushed Foster, who hit his head on the floor. Foster later died from his injuries.

Pasco County deputies later found Lane and Moyer with the stolen money, cigarettes and beer.

Lane was sentenced to life in prison in February after pleading guilty to first-degree murder.
