HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - The mayor of Harrisburg says he’s testified before a grand jury and produced city records, but he doesn’t want to disclose the precise topic.

The online news site Roxbury News posted a video interview with Mayor Eric Papenfuse on Friday in which the first-term Democrat says he spent most of a day recently testifying before the secret panel in Pittsburgh.

Papenfuse declined to say what was at issue, but did say he’s never felt more confident there will be accountability and justice for Harrisburg.

Harrisburg’s financial problems include a massive debt tied to an expansion of its trash incinerator, as well as a troubled school district.

Papenfuse says the city is cooperating with state prosecutors. A city school official told Pennlive.com it also has turned over records.
