SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - A defense attorney is asking a judge to bar testimony from a former cellmate of one of two defendants charged in the murder of a man found shot to death in his sport utility vehicle in a northeastern Pennsylvania ravine last summer.

Twenty-three-year-old Jason Dominick is charged along with 23-year-old Neil Pal in Lackawanna County in the death of 24-year-old Frank Bonacci. He was found shot in the head inside his SUV on a ledge above Roaring Brook in July.

The (Scranton) Times-Tribune (https://bit.ly/1hnsFnw ) reports that attorney Bernard Brown filed a motion Thursday to suppress statements of an inmate who alleges that Dominick made incriminating statements while the two were in Monroe County prison.

Prosecutors allege that Bonacci was killed following an all-night party at Pal’s house.
