HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Rob McCord is airing a new TV campaign ad that takes a slap at gubernatorial foe Tom Wolf’s building-products company.
A campaign spokesman for McCord, Pennsylvania’s state treasurer, said the ad went up statewide on Wednesday.
In it, McCord expressed surprise at learning that some of the products made by The Wolf Organization Inc. are made in the state of Indiana, not in Indiana, Pennsylvania. McCord wisecracks that, “Tom Wolf’s ads are nice but they’re miles away from the whole truth.”
A campaign spokesman for Wolf, the apparent front-runner in the four-way Democratic primary contest, says all of the York-based company’s products are made in the United States.
Spokesman Mark Nicastre says that, if it were up to McCord, the jobs would be in India - not Pennsylvania or Indiana.
