ATLANTA (AP) - The state Department of Education is launching a teacher training partnership with a university in Seoul, Korea.
Department spokesman Matt Cardoza said Wednesday that the department signed a memorandum of understanding with the Seoul National University of Education to promote teacher exchange and training programs and special academic initiatives.
Officials say the Korean university specializes in training aspiring elementary school teachers, and the partnership is the third that Georgia has formed with Korean universities.
