NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man has been sentenced to five to 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to killing a woman last summer and then hiding her body in an apartment building for more than two weeks.

Fifty-one-year-old Daniel Burke of Nashua pleaded guilty Wednesday to negligent homicide and abuse of a corpse. He admitted to killing 52-year-old Christina Hill on July 4.

The Telegraph of Nashua (https://bit.ly/1dPECba) reports prosecutors described a grisly scene in which police found the badly decomposed body wrapped in a blanket and a plastic sheet on July 20. A building manager discovered the body after entering the apartment to investigate a smell.

Burke told police he pushed Hill during an argument and she hit her head on a cabinet and slumped to the floor.
