Likely Senate candidate Scott Brown has left his job at a Boston law office, the Boston Globe reports.
“We enjoyed having Scott as a member of our team,” Andrew Glincher, the Nixon Peabody law firm’s chief executive and managing partner, said in a statement to the newspaper. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
Mr. Brown, a former Republican senator from Massachusetts, joined the firm in early 2013 after losing his seat to now-Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat.
His departure from the law firm adds to speculation he will announce a bid to take on incumbent Democrat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in New Hampshire.
Mr. Brown has been coy about his plans, but he relocated his residence to a vacation home in Rye, N.H., and is expected to announce his plans next week.
