The suspect in Tuesday’s FedEx facility shooting in Kennesaw, Ga., has been found dead at the scene — an apparent suicide, police said.

“We are not looking for anybody else at this point,” Cobb County police spokesman Dana Pierce told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The newspaper also reported on its Twitter site: “Cobb Police confirm shooter in FedEx shooting is dead at scene.”

Fox News confirmed the suspect committed suicide, and also added that five of the six who were wounded in the attack are doing well, expected to be released from the hospital soon. Five of the victims actually walked into the hospital for treatment, while the sixth was taken into emergency surgery, Fox News said. Specifics of that victim’s condition, as well as identifying details, are not known.

The shooting suspect was potentially a disgruntled employee or former FedEx worker, Fox News said. Police haven’t confirmed those details.

The FedEx facility, located about 30 miles from Atlanta, put out a statement earlier in the morning about the shooting: “FedEx is aware of the situation. Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our team members, first responders and others affected. FedEx is cooperating with authorities.”
