ALBANY, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon utility says an equipment failure at an Albany substation affected several other substations, knocking out power to approximately 30,000 Willamette Valley customers.

Pacific Power said it began restoring service within an hour and had all customers back online by 7:15 p.m. Monday.

The outage began at about 4:30 p.m.
