WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have arrested a man they say shattered glass doors at convenience stores and gas station to break into them.

Thirty-seven-year-old Brian Matthews of Wilmington was arrested Monday. He is charged with numerous offenses, including burglary and theft.

Troopers say Matthews broke into several businesses in Wilmington and New Castle this month. Police say in some cases he stole dozens of packages of cigarettes, but times fled before stealing anything.
