RICHMOND, Maine (AP) - Richmond police say they are hopeful a goat attack will be resolved without legal action.
A car owner called police to report that a pair of goats climbed the car, scratched its hood, and remained on the vehicle until police arrived.
Police contacted the goats’ owner and asked her to retrieve the animals. Richmond Police Chief Scott MacMaster told the Kennebec Journal (https://bit.ly/1itdY8Z) that the car owner is going to get estimates for the damage and hopefully resolve the matter without a lawsuit. No charges were filed in the case.
MacMaster told the paper that the goats have a habit of getting loose.
