LOS ANGELES (AP) - The last days of April will feel like August in Southern California.
Temperatures north of 90 are expected Tuesday in downtown Los Angeles, and Wednesday is likely to be even hotter.
The heat means wildfire danger in outlying areas, as dry gusty winds could hit the coasts and mountains starting Tuesday night.
The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for the Hollywood Hills, the Santa Monica and San Gabriel mountains and the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys.
