SEATTLE (AP) - A young mother who suffered two broken legs and a broken arm in the Oso mudslide has been released after a second stint in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
A spokeswoman says Amanda Skorjanc (SKOR’-yonz) was moved Saturday to a rehabilitation center. She was initially discharged April 10 from Harborview but readmitted with continuing problems.
Earlier, the 25-year-old Skorjanc told reporters how she held on to her baby as the March 22 mudslide destroyed their home. The 5-month-old boy, Duke Suddarth, also spent weeks in Seattle hospitals.
