MIAMI (AP) - Police are investigating after a 15-year-old drowned in a Miami-Dade County lake.
Authorities say several teens were swimming at the lake in southwest Miami-Dade County on Sunday afternoon when they saw their friend sink into the water.
According to investigators, the teens returned to help Armani English and called 911 after they couldn’t locate him.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue divers found the teen’s body. He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.
