Search crews are combing the northern part of San Francisco Bay after a pilot went missing when two planes collided.

The collision, which occurred Sunday, involved a Cessna 210 and a Hawker Sea Fury TMK 20, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said, The Associated Press reported.

The pilots were part of the Pacific Coast Dream Machines, an annual event that features planes, motorcycles and cars. Witnesses said the Cessna crashed into the water while the Sea Fury pilot was able to navigate back to land, AP said.

So far, search crews have found debris from the Cessna in the San Pablo Bay.
