HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) - The Marshall County Correctional Facility in Holly Springs has been accredited by the American Correctional Association - with a perfect score.

The Commercial Appeal (https://bit.ly/1rv9tdI ) reports that the facility got 100 percent.

Correctional Association officials say accreditation includes examining more than 450 standards. Those include safety and security, staff training and development, general administration, physical plant, case records, management, operations and inmate programming.

Marshall County Correctional Facility is a private prison that houses medium-security male inmates. It is operated by Management & Training Corp.

Warden Tim Outlaw says he’s proud of his staff.
