Body found in burning vehicle in Houston

HOUSTON (AP) - Houston firefighters answering a call about a burning car have discovered a body in the charred vehicle.

The Houston Fire Department says the body was located early Monday and investigators are trying to identify the person.

Authorities did not immediately release the gender or estimated age of the individual.

Houston police will help investigate the death.
