TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in Tucson say the repeating blaring of the horn of an SUV in a carport alerted a family to a house fire Monday morning.
According to the Tucson Fire Department, a vehicle’s horn can repeatedly sound when certain components are exposed to high heat.
Responding firefighters found the two vehicles in the carport and the carport itself fully engulfed in flames and the fire spreading to the roof.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the house.
Everybody in the house got out safely along with their three dogs.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
