BURNSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say they’re investigating a train crash that killed a driver on Friday.

The Selma Times-Journal (https://bit.ly/1nShqt7 ) reports 34-year-old Candis Solomon Vice was killed when the Chevrolet Tahoe she was riding in was struck by a train on Alabama Highway 14 and Dallas County Road 826.

Burnsville volunteer fire chief Steve Brewer says the car was thrown into a nearby ditch and overturned after impact.

Authorities say Burns was pronounced dead on the scene and it’s unclear how Vice’s vehicle ended up on the train tracks.
