HELENA, Miss. (AP) - The National Weather Service has called a tornado warning until 7 pm. In southwestern Tate and Tunica counties.

Forecasters say Doppler radar indicated a tornado near Gerlach Mill, or 14 miles east of Helena, about 6:30 p.m.

The apparent tornado was moving northeast at 25 miles an hour.

The warning area includes Prichard, Evansville, Clayton, Maud, Gerlach Mill, Dooley, Sarah, Savage and areas near Horseshoe Lake.
