TROY, N.Y. (AP) - Police say five people are recovering from gunshot wounds after someone opened fire outside a pizzeria in the city of Troy.

Authorities tell local media outlets that no arrests have been made in the shooting around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in front of Gino’s Pizzeria on Fourth Street in the city. Police say one person fired at pedestrians and then ran off.

The victims, described as three men and two women ranging in age from 18 to 27, were hit by gunfire in their legs and ankles.

Troy Police Capt. John Cooney tells media outlets that it appears two of the victims were intended targets and the others were bystanders.

Cooney said investigators are looking into the possibility the incident was related to ongoing feuds between Albany and Troy gang members.
