SEATTLE (AP) - The following school districts are the fastest growing and fastest shrinking districts in the state of Washington, according to state enrollment data analyzed by The Associated Press. The number after each district name is the student enrollment change from the 2011-12 school year to 2013-14.
NOTE: Omak, which grew by 2,438 students during that time period, was left off this list because it grew by adding a statewide online school, which doesn’t affect its need for classroom space.
