SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Police in Sioux Falls say two armed robberies were reported at casinos this weekend and the descriptions of the robbers were “very similar.”
Police say officers responded to a report of a robbery around 11:50 p.m. Saturday at the Aces Casino and shortly after were dispatched to the Connexions Casino.
Authorities say the suspect left the first casino before being able to obtain anything of value. The robber was able to flee the second facility with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived.
The suspect is described as a Native American or Hispanic male, approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall, medium build with a dark parka, dark pants and armed with a handgun.
