HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) - Residents of Broward County will be able to get rid of their old electronics and outdated household chemicals during a free drop-off event.

Residents of Pompano Beach, David and West Park can drop off the items on Saturday. Residents of Cooper City, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Laudedale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Margate, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors can participate on Sunday.

The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling drop-off event is free to those residents on both days. Among the items that can be discarded: Your old computer, monitor, television and any outdated household chemicals such as pesticides, paint and more.
