COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A special sale scheduled for this weekend in Columbia is for the benefit of breast cancer patients and their families.
Proceeds from the Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns go toward benefiting breast cancer patients.
The sale is taking place at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Columbia. Organizers say nearly 1,000 gowns in all shapes, sizes and colors will be on sale for discounts up to 85 percent.
Last year, $2 million was raised during the tour of gowns and funded free programs and services for those impacted by cancer.
