MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - A workshop on non-conventional oil and gas energy is set for early June in Morgantown.
The event is sponsored by West Virginia University, the Northeast Agricultural and Resource Economics Association and the National Agricultural and Rural Development Policy. It will be held at the Waterfront Place Hotel June 3-4.
The workshop will include paper presentations and speeches by experts in the field. Wesley Burnett, assistant professor of resource economics at WVU, says top scholars from around the world have submitted papers explaining the economic and environmental impacts of non-conventional oil and gas energy.
