DETROIT (AP) - An early-morning fire on Detroit’s west side destroyed one house and burned at least two others nearby.

No injuries were reported following the Friday fire. Hours after the blaze started, flames spewed from a ruptured gas line before it was shut off.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The fire department says it was told there were multiple explosions before crews responded.
