Thanksgiving probably can’t come quickly enough to one Minnesota metro. A couple of turkeys in a community located southwest of Minneapolis have taken their mischievous selves to local roadways and started terrorizing motorists, preventing them from passing, police said.
One officer in the city of Chaska captured the male birds on camera as they strutted down the roadway, halting traffic and approaching driver windows in an aggressive manner, CBS News reported.
They were so bold, that several drivers even turned their cars around, police said.
It’s normal for male turkeys to take an aggressive bent this time of the year — it’s mating season, CBS reported.
Rather than capture the turkeys, police in the area have simply issued a warning to motorists: Drive slowly, until the birds decide to wander away, they suggested.
