Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s childhood nickname? ‘The Surprise’

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said Thursday during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that her mother used to call her “the surprise.”

“Well, we all three have something in common at this table,” quipped the show’s co-host, former Florida Rep. Joe Scarborough.

“We are all accidents,” said Mika Brzezinski, the show’s other host.

Mrs. Warren appeared on the show to promote her new book “A Fighting Chance.”
