CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Sky are set to face off against a conference rival in the first-ever WNBA preseason tournament next month.

The team will take on the Indiana Fever in the first game of the tournament on May 9. The Phoenix Mercury and defending champion Minnesota Lynx round out the four-team contest at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The championship and consolation games are scheduled for May 11.

In addition to the tournament, WNBA players and coaches will also conduct clinics, practices, and autograph sessions with more than 1,500 girl basketball players with the Amateur Athletic Union.

WNBA President Laurel Richie says the events will showcase current and future basketball talent in the sport.

The Sky finished with the best record in the Eastern Conference last year.
