TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tulsa Shock officials have announced that center Elizabeth Cambage will not return to Tulsa for the 2014 WNBA season.

Cambage will remain in Australia to train with the Australian National Basketball Team for the upcoming FIBA World Championship in Turkey.

Team president Steve Swetoha said Wednesday the organization was “very disappointed” after learning that Cambage would not play in Tulsa.

With Cambage not returning, the Shock still retain her rights in the WNBA and her roster spot will be available for this season.

Cambage led the team in 2013, averaging 16.3 points per game and shooting 56.1 percent from the field.
