WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Arnaud William Adala Moto is transferring from Wake Forest.

New coach Danny Manning announced the forward’s decision Wednesday.

Adala Moto made 11 starts and played in all 33 games as a sophomore last season, averaging 6.9 points and 5.2 rebounds.

Adala Moto came to Wake Forest in 2012 as part of a seven-man recruiting class that was the core of former coach Jeff Bzdelik’s rebuilding effort and included guard Codi Miller-McIntyre and big man Devin Thomas.

Manning was hired earlier this month from Tulsa to replace Bzdelik, who resigned in March after four disappointing seasons.

Manning calls Adala Moto “an outstanding young man” and says the staff respects his decision.
