MIAMI (AP) - The Miami Dolphins will play AFC East teams in their first two games for the first time since 1998, opening the 2014 season at home against New England on Sept. 7 and playing at Buffalo on Sept. 14.

The Dolphins finish the regular season with home games against Minnesota on Dec. 21 and against the New York Jets on Dec. 28.

Other highlights of the team’s schedule released Wednesday include a game against Oakland in London on Sept. 28. The other prime-time games are Thursday, Nov. 13 at home against Buffalo, and Monday, Dec. 1 at the Jets.

Aside from the Vikings, NFC opponents will be the Green Bay Packers at home and the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions on the road.
