TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - The Arizona Cardinals will open their NFL season at home against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football.
The game on Sept. 8 will be the second half of ESPN’s season-opening Monday night doubleheader,
Arizona plays two other night games on national television - Thursday, Dec. 11 at St. Louis on the NFL Network and Dec. 21 at home on NBC’s Sunday Night Football against Super Bowl champion Seattle.
After the Chargers game, the Cardinals play at the New York Giants and home against San Francisco before their bye in week four.
Other home games are Oct. 12 against Washington, Oct. 26 against Philadelphia, Nov. 9 against St. Louis, Nov. 16 against Detroit and Dec. 7 against Kansas City.
Five of Arizona’s final seven games are on the road - including contests against Seattle and, in the regular-season finale, San Francisco.
