MILWAUKEE (AP) - Five Milwaukee museums are offering free or reduced admission to help promote each other.

They are part of the Milwaukee Museum Mile, which includes five small and medium museums located within a mile of each other along Lake Michigan.

The museums are the Jewish Museum Milwaukee, The Charles Allis Art Museum, Museum of Wisconsin Art at St. John’s On The Lake, The Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum and the North Point Lighthouse at Lake Park.

The Milwaukee Museum Mile’s third annual event will take place May 4.

A free shuttle bus will travel between the museums and each museum will also offer free docent-led tours.
