WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - A Wheeling man faces five years in prison after pleading guilty to escaping from the custody of a halfway house.

U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld’s office said Tuesday that 25-year-old Dallas Acoff left the Bannum Place on Jan. 17. He was serving the remainder of a 41-sentence for crack cocaine distribution at the halfway house at the time.

Acoff entered his plea in U.S. District Court in Wheeling.
