JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (AP) - A toxicology report finds no evidence of drugs or alcohol in the system of a driver involved in a February crash that killed four people in Jacksonville.

The Daily News of Jacksonville reported (https://bit.ly/QuyPNi ) the toxicology report was released by the state Medical Examiner’s Office late Monday.

Authorities say the accident happened Feb. 15 when 24-year-old Saquan Lakiam Nelson of Maple Hill drove through a red light at an intersection in Jacksonville at almost 100 mph.

The vehicle hit an SUV driven by 30-year-old Rachel Delisle. Nelson, Delisle and two passengers in Nelson’s vehicle were all killed.

North Carolina Highway Patrol Sgt. R.E. Dudley says the investigation continues.
