YORK, Pa. (AP) - A central Pennsylvania coroner has ruled the death of a man injured in a shooting more than two decades ago a homicide.

Authorities in York County say 36-year-old Juan Sanchez was only 14 when the June 1992 shooting in York left him paralyzed.

Coroner Pam Gay said Monday that autopsy results indicate that Sanchez died in February as a result of complications from the wound.

District Attorney Tom Kearney said at the time that his office was considering filing homicide charges in the 22-year-old case.
