Former Philadelphia Eagles safety Colt Anderson has agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Butte, Mont., native and former Montana walk-on played four seasons for the Eagles, where he made six starts and played in 48 games, mostly on special teams. He had 47 career tackles, four passes defensed, one interception and two forced fumbles. He also has 46 career special teams tackles.
Anderson was on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad when he signed with the Eagles in November 2010. He was chosen as a special teams captain for the Eagles playoff game against Green Bay in January 2011.
Anderson suffered a torn knee ligament during a game in Seattle in December 2011 and missed the rest of the season, but was still voted a special teams MVP by his teammates.
The Colts announced the agreement with Anderson on Monday.
