DILLON, S.C. (AP) - Investigators say a convenience store employee was shot to death in the parking lot of his store after closing up for the night.

Dillon County deputies said it appears two people approached the clerk of the 20/20 Convenience Store around 11 p.m. Monday and killed him

Investigators wouldn’t say if anything was stolen in the robbery. They also have not identified any suspects.

An autopsy has been ordered for the store employee, and his name has not been released.
