OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities say a 6-year-old boy has been found dead after a fire and explosion at an Oklahoma City home.

The fire broke out Tuesday morning at a home in southwest Oklahoma City. Fire Battalion Chief Mike Walker says that crews recovered the boy’s body after the fire was extinguished.

Neighbors reported hearing an explosion before the fire broke out. Firefighters say a woman in the home jumped out of a window and was treated by emergency responders.

Authorities say that only one wall was still standing once firefighters were able to make it inside the home.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and explosion.
