DETROIT (AP) - Authorities have released the names of three teenagers who were killed when their stolen Jeep went off an embankment and crashed upside down on Interstate 75 in Detroit.

The Detroit Free Press says the Wayne County medical examiner’s office identified them as 14-year-old Cynthia Elizarraras, 16-year-old Suhailia Alvarez and 17-year-old Charles Miller Jr.

Police say that several new vehicles were stolen from a Detroit-area car dealer, and the vehicle that crashed matched the description of one of them.
