Shock to host Chinese team in preseason basketball

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The Tulsa Shock will host the Chinese National Women’s Olympic basketball team in a preseason game next month.

The two teams will play Monday, May 12, at the BOK Center in Tulsa. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Shock President Steve Swetoha said the game will be a “unique opportunity: for fans to see international Olympic players.

The Chinese team also has games scheduled in Atlanta, Seattle and Los Angeles prior to their stop in Tulsa.
