GREENVILLE, Ill. (AP) - The search continues for a drug defendant who escaped from jail in southern Illinois’ Bond County.
Authorities say 30-year-old Andrew Walker of Pierron (peer-RON’) was being held on methamphetamine-production charges when he bolted from the jail Friday night.
Sheriff’s officials say Walker made his way into a vent leading to an outer room, then broke through a drop ceiling and fled through an exit door.
Walker is described as a being 6 feet tall and about 170 pounds, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and white shorts.
