ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - An Aberdeen judge set bond at $10,000 for a man arrested for two armed robberies.

Christian Cabrera-Ascenio, of Aberdeen, is charged with felony counts of aiding and abetting the robbery of Fresh Start Credit Sales and aiding and abetting attempted robbery of Lafayette Casino.

The Aberdeen American News reports (https://bit.ly/1iDQsVb ) both crimes were reported March 18.

Cabrera-Ascenio pleaded not guilty Monday.

The 27-year-old is also charged in a separate case with witness tampering for allegedly having contact with one of the other people arrested in the robbery case.

And in a third case, he’s charged with a third drunken driving charge in a 10-year span.
