LAUREL, Del. (AP) - The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a fire that severely damaged a home in Laurel.

Officials say the fire was reported just before 3 a.m. Sunday in the Shiloh Farms area of Laurel. Investigators say residents were home at the time of the fire, but no one was injured.

State fire investigators were called to the scene to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Damages were estimated at $200,000.

The Laurel Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from Blades, Georgetown and Millsboro in extinguishing the flames.
